In partnership with City, University of London, YGAM will publish Dr. Carran’s independent evaluation of the effectiveness of the YGAM gambling awareness programme at a joint symposium on Thursday 7th September 2017. The independent evaluation will be available in hard copy at the symposium for delegates to take away along with YGAM’s Annual Review & Accounts for 2016/17.

The joint symposium will also welcome leading experts who will share their views on gambling in the UK among young people and key messages for the education sector, focussing on how social gaming and gambling advertising can affect young people. In addition, delegates will have the opportunity to hear from and meet organisations who have delivered the YGAM education programme; young people themselves; individuals and families affected by gambling related harm and YGAM’s Chief Executive, who will talk about the organisations priorities for 2017/18.

The symposium is a free event, with a light lunch provided. To view the programme, or request a place, please Click Here
