Level Up Safeguarding: Protecting Young Players in Esports

Designed for those working or volunteering with young people within esports education, clubs or teams, this workshop explores the safeguarding topics within the esports sector, equipping professionals with the confidence to embed stronger safeguarding cultures.

Please note, a basic understanding of esports is assumed for this workshop. If you are new within the esports environment, we recommend attending our Gaming & Esports: Navigating Risks, Unlocking Potential prior to participating.

For staff and volunteers

Book a session online or in person at a time and date suited to your team. This could be as part of a training day or as an additional online opportunity.

For young people

Once we have trained your staff and volunteers, we can offer one of two sessions for our facilitators to come and deliver to your young people, to kick start the activities you can run longer term using our resources.

For parents and carers

Suitable for parents, carers or any adults who have responsibility for young people, our parent awareness session cover how to have productive conversations about gaming with your child, as well as tips for safer gaming at home.

Your training includes access to a range of free resources to enable you to run sessions for young people aged 7-21.

Broken down into age group and duration of activity, these are suitable for a range of youth based learning.
