Genting Casinos and YGAM are collaborating to launch YGAM in the Midlands.

Genting Casinos and YGAM are collaborating to launch YGAM in the Midlands. The reach of YGAM over the past three years has been predominantly restricted to London & South East to enable the charity to put in place firm foundations, quality processes and demonstrate its ability to deliver social impact within one key region. Genting Casinos have been a keen supporter of YGAM over the past three years and have now committed to fund the charity’s expansion in to the Midlands. This support extends to a donation to fund an Education Manager job and two part-time jobs for students as university Community Development Workers. These three jobs will be specifically located in the West Midlands and will be published on the YGAM website and open for anybody to apply.

Lee Willows, Chief Executive, YGAM said “The team are delighted to be given the opportunity to work with Genting Casinos to expend our social reach. Over the next twelve months this collaboration will enable up to 17,000 young and vulnerable people to access our education programmes. We are particularly looking forward to working with local stakeholders in the West Midlands including schools, colleges, universities, local community groups, Local Authorities and MPs. This is an important milestone for YGAM and I am grateful for the opportunity to partner Genting.

Paul Willcock, President & COO, Genting UK said “It is a pleasure to partner with YGAM and support them to deliver an important part of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. Through our investment at Resorts World, we have an important role to play specifically in the West Midlands, by supporting registered charities whose social purpose is aligned to ours. YGAM are delivering impressive social impact and impactful education programmes right now. It has been inspiring to watch their journey and we are looking forward to supporting their organic growth through this and other potential investments and employee volunteering programmes in 2018.

The Education Manager role is currently being advertised on our website and we welcome applications from suitability qualified and experienced professionals who live in the West Midlands.
