This is more than your usual part-time job. As a Community Development Manager you will attend work, commit to your role, and get paid for the work you do. But being a Community Development Manager is so much more than that.

You will be working within an agile start-up charity, driving engagement at your University. You will be part of a team of Community Development Managers working at Universities across England making a real difference by informing, educating, and safeguarding students at your university around digital resilience and gambling and gambling-related harms.

The post holder will play a key part of our strategy as a charity and you will use your creativity and drive to help us hit our targets at your University. You will work proactively, ensuring YGAM has a presence at your university with students and build relationships with the university, students’ union, and student groups. We are seeking individuals who have an outgoing and confident personality and are highly self-motivated, being able to show strong independent working skills. Location: Work from your University campus with some work at home

Starting salary: £10.55 (London) £9 (UK) per hour

Line Manager: Head of Delivery (University and Student Engagement)

Interviews: Interview days will take place in London, Midlands, and the North between Tuesday 3 September and Thursday 5 September

For candidates unable to attend in person Skype interviews will be arranged on Friday 30 August and Monday 2 September.

Start Date: An induction day will take place in London on Monday 9 September. Your expenses will be covered. You will begin in role during the freshers/induction/welcome week at your University.
