The ’10for10 Challenge’ invites not only members of the Ygam team but also its broader community of supporters to take part in one of ten formidable challenges throughout the year. Participants will seek sponsorship for taking on the challenge they undertake, raising funds to mark Ygam’s milestone anniversary.

These ten challenges will test both physical and mental endurance, ranging from marathons to mountain treks. Additionally, participants will face challenges such as skydiving, bungee jumping, swimming, cycling, and hardcore obstacle courses.

The challenges will be taking place all over the UK with the first one planned for April.

Ian Shanahan, Director of Business Development and Fundraising for Ygam, said: “It’s an exciting year for our charity, and this initiative represents an innovative approach to highlighting our social purpose while also generating funds to empower our dedicated team to do the impactful work they do. We’ve set a unique challenge for each year of Ygam’s existence, and the response so far has been fantastic, with numerous staff and stakeholders eager to participate.

“Undoubtedly, fundraising in the third sector presents considerable challenges, so we’re hoping that this campaign will captivate a wide array of supporters. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to support us and contribute to a meaningful cause.”
